La Oliva Roja was born out of the desire and curiosity of a young couple – half from Málaga and half from Burgos – who wanted to have a good, freshly pressed EVOO on their table every year.
Seeing the difficulty involved in buying a good EVOO and the lack of information on the labels, they decided to launch a small project to showcase the olive groves near Ronda, and especially those ancient olive groves—many of which are over a century old—which provide us with high-quality fruit and, above all, a culture deeply rooted in their soil and their wood, a wood that harbours a wealth of history, our history, which is the cornerstone of our heritage.
